So this is my new blog.  I estimate a total of 4 people will read it...my bf, two roommates, and an honorary roommate.  And I'm not even sure all of them will read it. Oh well.  There are a few things I need to talk about

1) Carolina Rocks!  This has definately been an amazing weekend for us!  Not only did we beat Duke, but our girls are ACC Tourney Champs!  And to make things better the mens and women's teams of both Duke and State lost this weekend!  Can it get any better?

2) TV is evil. I find myelf addicted.  I don't think I can survive without it.  I find myself not being able to go to sleep without the tv.  Do they have help groups for this?   It's definately taken over my life, especially Law and Order. Tonight it is on THREE different channels.  It also seems to have an all-day marathon every other weekend....and I always end up watching.  I need help.  Serious help.

3)  I have short attention span.  I'm already bored writting in this.  I think I have ADD.

 This is a rebuttle to Jason's iPod post. THEY SUCK! Ok ok I know a lot of poeple do not agree with me. But I just cannot stand when I see someone I know and want to talk to them but they have those stupid earbuds in. I never know if they are actually listening or even heard me. Like what if someone was walking in front of you and you're running after them trying to get their attention yelling their name....of course they can't hear you b/c they're listening to their iPod! BLAH.

Also--you iPod-ians always have the earbuds in even when you are not listening to music, so I always have to hestiate "should I talk to him or not? I don't want to say something and look dumb b/c he's not listening". Overall, this epidemic is alarming and soon we will all turn into a bunch of deaf, anti-social crazies.

One day we will look back and say to our kids "I remember before iPods came out, people used to actually talk to each other, now all we do is listen to music"

Man!!  I am starving!!  Ok so it's the first day of Spring Break.  I'm at home just chilling.  It's Friday night and that means Taco Bell for dinner.  That's just how the routine goes.  But no one eats as early as me so I have to wait another hour for dinner.

So I was thinking about this on the drive down to Charlotte. We need to be nicer to people.  We (as in people in general) are so quick to judge and quick to criticize, but it takes so much to get a compliment out.  I stopped at a Taco Bell for lunch (yeah i'm having it for two meals today), and they were so nice!  I  felt like I should have said something to them for giving such great service, but I would have felt like a goon.  Who compliments the TB employees?

 Basically, I think we need to say something nice to people atleast once a day. Even if it's something like"good job", or "you look good today".  It can really go a long way and make people feel great about themselves.  Especially if it's someone who is doing their job because getting a compliment from a customer makes them want to keep up the good work or do better! Positive reinforcement definately works, but it just isnt utilized as much as it should be!

This also applies to those that seem kinda bitchy or unapproachable.  Sometimes those are the people that need it the most!

So I need to study.  4 exams next week...yeah they hate us! the problem is, I just can't concentrate! Can I just get diagnosed with ADD and make everything easier?  So I'm sitting here trying to think of something else to do.  I already worked out--and I don't work out often, then even took a walk, watched a crap load of tv and took a long shower. And now..I'm just sitting here...filling the void with my words.  Unlike Jason's, mine are not worth a thousand pictures.

So I can't believe I'm 21!  It feels like just yesterday when I was 16 and thinking I was so cool because I was older than people and able to drive.  Atleast life has gotten better since then.  Being a teenager sucks-and I'm so glad I never have to do that again! This is the perfect age!  If only I could stay 21 for the rest of my life (or maybe 25--so I can rent a car).  But somehow I'm already at my peak...and all I do is study my life away.

speaking of study. I guess I'll get back to it.  Sorry if you bothered to read this.  It was not very interesting.
